Teachers will work with students and guardians wherein the student is part of a remote learning program. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Teachers will assist students and guardians to select curriculum that aligns with Idaho State Learning Standards.
- Teachers will ensure a plan is in place for students to be provided with a quality educational experience.
- Teachers will regularly assess student learning and progress towards achieving proficiency on state standards using provided outlines and checklists.
- Teachers will provide regular office hours for student support.
- Teachers will evaluate student engagement and attendance equivalency.
- Teachers will communicate regularly with school administration to address student and program concerns.
- Teachers will provide success coaching to students and encourage successful outcomes for the student learning.
- Teachers will acquire and maintain the necessary training for online learning platforms.
- Teachers will maintain accurate student records.
- Teachers will provide regular progress reports and submit end of course grades as directed.
