Job description

Remote (US or Canada) · Full-time Compensation: US $150,000–$200,000 / Canada $75,000–$120,000 + competitive equity

About the Company

Our client launched in late 2022 as an early AI headshot product to market — the first AI headshot generated went viral on LinkedIn and became the wedge into the broader professional-photography market. The platform now spans AI headshots, personal and professional AI image generation, brand product photography, e-commerce assets, and a Teams product for company photos and marketing assets. The long-term vision is a full creative suite across images, video (in build), and audio (next on the roadmap). It's been profitable since day one, with last-published ARR around $12M.

Founded 2022 · ~15 people (fully remote) · Industry: AI Tools

The Role

The client is hiring its first full-time Growth Lead to own growth end to end. Marketing has been handled by the founder plus a few contractors; this hire takes over existing initiatives and designs and runs net-new ones. It's a scrappy operator seat, not a senior-manager role.

Requirements
  • 2–6 years of marketing or growth experience
  • Comfortable being the first full-time growth hire at a profitable AI startup
  • A scrappy operator with high agency
  • End-to-end ownership across multiple channels
  • Fully remote, US or Canada preferred
  • Reports directly to the founder
Nice to Haves
  • Prior first-marketing-hire or founding-growth experience at a consumer or prosumer startup that scaled past $5M ARR
  • A performance-marketing agency owner or operator with a proven paid-acquisition track record for high-growth consumer brands
  • Owned multiple marketing functions simultaneously at a startup (influencer + performance + organic content)
  • Demonstrated measurable impact — can walk through specific campaigns, channels, and outcome metrics (numbers, not vibes)
  • Familiarity with generative-AI products, AI creator tools, or AI-driven consumer brands
Why Join
  • A profitable, first-to-market AI company: scaled to $1M ARR in its first months, profitable since day one, now around $12M ARR
  • First full-time growth hire: take the wheel from the founder and contractors and own growth end to end — real 0-to-1 scope
  • Shape the next chapter: work directly with the founder as the platform expands from images into video and audio
  • Fully remote plus competitive equity
Details
  • Location — Remote (US or Canada preferred)
  • Work policy — Fully remote
  • Compensation — US $150,000–$200,000 / Canada $75,000–$120,000 + competitive equity
  • Visa sponsorship — Available (O-1, STEM OPT)
  • Employment type — Full-time
