Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will involve a broad range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of your clients. Key duties include:

  • Conducting individual therapy sessions and assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.
  • Engaging in regular supervision sessions and collaborating with site supervisors to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Participating in team meetings, including staff meetings and peer supervision, to discuss ongoing cases and share best practices.
  • Identifying and utilizing available agency resources, services, and systems to support your clients effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough client recordsโ€”both written and electronicโ€”ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
  • Researching and implementing best practices for specific client cases as directed by your supervisor.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to client requirements.
  • Documenting case notes and client evaluations to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment methods.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will support individuals across different age groups, helping them navigate their mental health journeys and achieve meaningful outcomes in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • A valid state license as a Mental Health Counselorโ€”LMHC, LMFT, or LICSWโ€”per Washington state regulations.
  • Strong clinical skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • A clean professional history, with no documented claims of Medical Malpractice, verified by a third party.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without restrictions.
Preferred Experience
  • A proven track record of effective counseling or therapy in community health settings.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and various mental health issues.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is beneficial.
  • Participation in community outreach initiatives is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
