Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Senior Medical Informatics Analyst, you will apply advanced informatics knowledge, clinical and operational experience, and leadership skills to lead a multidisciplinary approach that advocates for and supports regional providers and executives. You will drive clinical system efficiency, foster innovation, reduce access barriers, and facilitate system design and implementation to improve outcomes and advance regional strategies.
Every day you will lead initiatives with providers to enhance efficiency and productivity, focusing on reducing barriers to documentation, improving charge capture, and streamlining workflows.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong critical thinking and leadership. You will effectively collaborate with diverse teams, such as Operations, IT, and Epic AMS, and maintain proficiency in all CommonSpirit Health-specific applications to ensure electronic records support and enhance patient care.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance provider electronic platforms, reducing burden and variability while increasing technology utilization
  • Design and support effective, regulatory-compliant content, Clinical Decision support, and reporting metrics
  • Advocate for regional providers, representing their needs across the organization and leading change preparedness efforts
  • Champion national initiatives, including provider readiness, application rationalization, and biomedical integration
  • Steward executive initiatives and strategic growth while maintaining oversight of optimization requests
  • Oversee clinical systems downtime tools and readiness

Job Requirements
Required:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years Electronic Health Record or Healthcare Informatics related experience
  • EPIC Certification (EPIC) within 90 days

Preferred:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Informatics experience
  • Minimum of 7 years clinical or healthcare related experience
  • Masters: Computer Science, MIS, Informatics Health Administration, or other related field
