• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health needs and create tailor-made treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address clients' specific issues.
• Provide targeted therapeutic support to clients suffering from PTSD, utilizing specialized techniques and interventions to foster resilience and healing.
• Engage in effective case management by coordinating additional resources and services, ensuring a holistic approach to care that encompasses all aspects of the client's life.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes, adhering to ICD-9 guidelines to ensure compliance and quality control.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists, to enhance treatment strategies and outcomes.
• Empower families through counseling sessions aimed at fostering positive relationship dynamics, enhancing family communication, and building stronger support networks.

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and various emotional and behavioral problems. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting not only individual clients but also families seeking to improve their relationships and overall mental health. • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required, demonstrating a solid educational foundation in mental health.
• A current and valid LMFT license in the State of California is mandatory to practice.
• Applicants should possess at least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience working in settings that provide mental health counseling.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT and ABA, is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong ability in case management are essential for the successful fulfillment of this role.

• Experience in working with trauma-informed care and knowledge of community resources that can aid in the holistic treatment of clients are preferred.
• Prior experience in a telehealth service environment is a plus, allowing for a smoother transition into our remote work structure.
