• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations and ongoing assessments to create effective treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques and interventions to address varied mental health concerns.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.

Your work will directly impact a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders. • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on empathetic engagement with clients.
• In-depth understanding of behavioral and mental health dynamics, including addiction disorders and the implications of psychiatric medications.

• Previous experience delivering mental health counseling in a clinic or community health setting.
• Demonstrable knowledge of best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Experience in developing and executing group therapy programs or workshops.
