Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- 1+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures all daily scheduled computer production work is completed accurately.
- Provides daily monitoring of computer platforms.
- Conducts scheduling and system monitoring tasks using appropriate tools.
- Troubleshoots operational issues as 1st level support and notifies appropriate support personnel for problem resolution.
- Records all trouble ticket issues/incidents and provides follow-up to customers.
- Provides 1st level help desk and online business application support during and after normal business hours.
- Ensures all problems and issues reported to computer operations are recorded in the incident reporting log for review or action by Operations or IT Management.
- Communicates with all areas and levels within the organization.
Skills:
- JES (Scheduling).
- JCL.
- SDSF.
- OpCon or any other scheduling tool (Control-M or CA7 etc.) experience.
