Key Responsibilities (What You're Doing)

  • Partner with the Account Management team to successfully implement, traffic, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across Hearst Magazines properties.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign trafficking in Google Ad Manager, LiveIntent, and other advertising platforms, ensuring campaigns launch accurately and on schedule.
  • Collect campaign assets, thoroughly QA third-party tags and creative, and validate campaign setup to ensure flawless execution.
  • Collaborate closely with our offshore support team by communicating trafficking requests, campaign launch requirements, and reviewing deliverables for quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance against client KPIs, identify optimization opportunities, and proactively troubleshoot trafficking or reporting issues to maximize campaign success.
  • Own campaign reporting by delivering internal and client-facing performance reports, highlighting insights, recommendations, and top-performing campaign elements.
  • Support billing operations by reconciling monthly campaign delivery, partnering with Account Management to resolve billing disputes, and ensuring billing accuracy.
  • Serve as a trusted ad operations resource for Sales and Sales Support teams while maintaining expertise in industry standards, ad technology, and third-party system integrations.


Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

  • 1+ years of experience (or equivalent experience) managing end-to-end digital advertising campaigns, including trafficking, optimization, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting campaign management, pacing, performance optimization, and client reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to quickly learn new platforms, technologies, and advertising workflows.
  • Experience with third-party ad servers such as Google Campaign Manager, Flashtalking, Innovid, or VAST video is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or SQL is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • This is a fully remote position.


The hourly rate for this role is $33.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

  • Partner with our Account Management team to facilitate implementing and optimizing allย digital mediaย campaigns.
  • Understand the capabilities of the various Hearst Magazine properties to help Account Management set client expectations and build programs that are set up for success.
  • Manage campaign delivery functions: collect campaign assets and traffic,ย thoroughly QA third-party tags, and align with reportingย and performance expectations.
  • Work closely with our offshore support team to communicate traffic requests and campaign launch requirements.
  • QA our offshore support team's deliverables to avoid campaign errors and revenue loss.
  • Campaign optimization (monitor campaign pacing to meet client KPIs, provide optimizationย recommendations, and work with theย  Account Manager to implement, and proactively flag issues with trafficking orย reporting to ensure complete delivery of campaigns)
  • Own reporting (provide internal and external reporting and work withย AMs & PMs on comprehensive wrap reportsย highlighting top-performing elements, insights, andย recommendations for futureย campaigns)
  • Work with Account Management to understand any billing requirements to prevent billing disputes.ย 
  • Finalize monthly delivery for billing reconciliation.ย 
  • Support the Account Management team in investigatingย andย resolving billingย disputes.ย 
  • Communicate daily with sales and sales support teams, serving as their ad ops and optimization expert.
  • Understand and maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry standards in ad technology, including ad verification, viewability, and programmatic ad serving.
  • Ensure that all internal systems are mapped to third-party (3P) systems, and that these mappings are maintained correctly and consistently.
