Job description

Job Title: Machine learning Engineer
Location: Remote – PST Alignment Required
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Rate 60 hourly on W2


Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced AI Engineers to design, build, optimize, and scale next-generation AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows supporting business functions such as planning, allocation, forecasting, pricing, and operational execution.

This role is focused on the practical implementation, integration, optimization, and operationalization of AI agents in production environments, rather than traditional machine learning model development.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience, hands-on experience building or supporting AI Agents and Agentic Workflows, experience working with LLMs and Generative AI, and exposure to cloud-native AI solutions, preferably on GCP.

Engineers will be assigned business use cases and will own the design, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI-driven solutions that improve productivity, automate workflows, and support better business decision-making.

Top Must-Have Skills

  • Strong Python development experience
  • Hands-on experience building or supporting AI Agents / Agentic AI Workflows
  • Experience with LLMs and Generative AI
  • Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as:
    • LangChain
    • LangGraph
    • Google Agent Development Kit (ADK)
  • Experience with AI SDKs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar platforms
  • Strong experience integrating APIs into AI-driven applications
  • GCP cloud experience, including BigQuery and other cloud-native services
  • Experience working with unstructured data
  • Understanding of AI agent optimization, deployment, monitoring, and operational performance
  • Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Data Engineering
  • Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Experience working in multi-cloud environments
  • GCP experience strongly preferred; Azure exposure is a plus
  • Experience in retail, supply chain, planning, forecasting, pricing, or allocation
  • Experience with SQL and/or R

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize AI Agents supporting enterprise business workflows
  • Build and maintain Agentic AI workflows that enable automation, execution, and business insights
  • Integrate LLMs, Generative AI services, and AI SDKs into production applications
  • Develop backend services and integrations using Python
  • Integrate external and internal APIs into AI-powered solutions
  • Leverage GCP technologies and BigQuery to support AI workloads
  • Optimize AI agent performance, token utilization, latency, and cost efficiency
  • Develop scalable and maintainable AI solutions for enterprise use cases
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions
  • Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence of AI-powered applications
  • Continuously improve AI agents based on performance, business outcomes, and user feedback
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure AI solutions are production-ready and scalable
