This role operates in a telehealth setting, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong connection with clients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring their unique needs are addressed.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client needs and track progress effectively.
• Document client interactions and treatment outcomes promptly and accurately, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans that focus on enhancing client independence and well-being.
• Actively participate in the licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Serve as a liaison among various state agencies and community partners to facilitate access to resources and support for clients.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in mental health practices.
• Promote and integrate the mission and values of Medical Rehabilitation Services throughout all interactions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals.

Your role will primarily focus on assisting a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing emotional health difficulties, substance abuse challenges, and individuals with developmental disabilities. The goal is to create an inclusive environment that respects each person’s background and experiences while promoting healing and recovery. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients and assist them on their journey toward improved mental health and wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required to ensure a strong foundation in mental health practices.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory to provide qualified care.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain comprehensive clinical records and prepare essential reports in a timely manner.
• Proven capacity to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting to foster a supportive and cohesive environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Sound judgment and the capability to make independent decisions based on professional knowledge and experience.

• Prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling environments is advantageous as it aligns with our service delivery model.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of various cultural perspectives in mental health.
• Familiarity with relevant mental health laws and ethical guidelines to ensure best practices are followed consistently.
