You will work primarily with students and their families, providing necessary support in real-time educational settings while adhering to best practices in mental health care. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Provide high-quality counseling and psychotherapy to clients with a focus on behavior modification, coping strategies, and emotional healing.
• Advocate for clients by linking them with essential resources, including educational supports, financial assistance, and social services.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients in acute distress, guiding them through crises related to mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, or trauma.
• Engage in educational outreach initiatives that cultivate mental health awareness among students, staff, and the broader community.
• Document client progress, treatment interventions, and pertinent observations in compliance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
• Utilize supervision opportunities for ongoing professional development, learning from experienced clinicians to enhance your therapeutic practices.

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, along with their families, addressing a variety of mental health concerns. Your work will focus on helping young clients develop coping mechanisms, improve their social skills, and effectively manage their emotions, thereby fostering healthier interactions within their academic and social environments.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Pennsylvania LCSW license, with the capability to provide independent practice.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients, demonstrating a commitment to cultural competence.
• Strong communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with schools, parents, and other healthcare providers.
• Proficient in creating treatment plans that reflect client needs and measurable outcomes.

• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical social work setting, preferably with adolescents and families.
• Experience in school-based mental health services, including familiarity with educational systems and resources.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Established skills in crisis management and intervention strategies.
