As a Junior Field Services Engineer, you will be delivering a wide range of services including standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment. You will be working on Phoenix 2D & 3D CT Xray testing machine hardware and software at both Waygate and customer locations. This role requires extensive travel, expected to exceed 70%.

As a Junior Field Services Engineer, after completing a rigorous technical training program, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial Xray systems and supporting peripheral equipment such as Xray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, highvoltage control circuits, motion control systems, and highend PCs.

  • Providing technical support to customers via phone and on-site service visits.

  • Completing service reports, invoicing packages, and administrative documentation in a timely manner.

  • Driving customer satisfaction by delivering highquality service and honoring commitments.

  • Monitoring site safety throughout the execution of all work scopes.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a fouryear technical degree (AEET, AMET) with experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment OR have a fouryear degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).

  • Have the ability to regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs. and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.

  • Have the willingness to undergo background checks including employment verification, criminal history, driving record, and education.

  • Have the ability to travel up to 70% of the time.

  • Have a valid driver's license and passport (or the ability to obtain one).

  • Have valid U.S. citizenship status.
