This role is primarily remote, enabling you to interact with clients and provide effective therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space. While the flexibility of remote work is provided, you'll maintain consistent communication with other professionals in a collaborative team setting. This includes participating in weekly team meetings and case consultations, ensuring that patient care remains coordinated and holistic.

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's individual trauma history and mental health needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that emphasize recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth, providing a roadmap for therapeutic progress.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing and coping.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment of trust and openness where clients can explore their trauma-related challenges.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to create comprehensive care strategies that address the holistic needs of patients.
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate assistance.
• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
• Engage in continuous learning by keeping abreast of new research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

This role focuses on serving individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are exhibiting symptoms associated with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique stories and challenges. As a therapist, your empathetic approach will help in establishing strong therapeutic alliances that foster recovery. You will play a pivotal role in helping patients process their trauma, develop valuable coping strategies, and build a path toward healing and personal empowerment.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings focused on trauma-informed care.
• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with various trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) management and utilizing relevant software for documentation and team collaboration.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
• Ability to remain composed and effective during high-stress situations, facilitating appropriate interventions when needed.
• Commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care.
