This position provides the flexibility of a remote work setting, which allows our therapists to maintain a healthy work-life balance while completing necessary duties, such as patient consultations via video conferencing. Our outpatient office ensures that clinical operations are managed efficiently, allowing you to focus on providing the highest standard of care to your patients.

• Be readily available to family members or loved ones, returning all calls and emails within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at all other times.
• Maintain clear communication with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding authorizations and payments, ensuring all necessary clinical documentation is completed promptly.
• Conduct thorough discharge planning beginning on the first day of admission and facilitate discharge sessions that cover coping strategies, transition plans, and available resources.
• Effectively manage crisis situations during sessions by employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques while providing support to milieu staff in their interactions with patients.
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, conducting risk assessments for suicidality and potential harm.
• Facilitate seamless admissions by conducting assessments with professionalism and courtesy, actively engaging in clinical outreach as needed.
• Collaborate in weekly treatment team meetings to evaluate treatment goals, adapting strategies as necessary to enhance patient care.
• Provide clinical support related to authorization processes to insurance companies, ensuring accurate and timely approvals for patient services.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.
• An independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) valid in your state of residence.

• Proficiency in navigating electronic medical records and strong email communication skills.
• A capability to manage a large caseload effectively while interfacing with other providers and support staff.

• Experience in crisis intervention and management within a therapeutic setting.
• Familiarity with the intricacies of insurance utilization review and the authorization process.
• Proven track record of establishing therapeutic rapport quickly and effectively.
