Can LPN work in radiology?

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) typically do not perform radiology procedures, which are usually carried out by radiologic technologists or radiologic technicians. However, LPNs may assist in patient care, preparation, and monitoring in radiology departments under the supervision of radiologists or technologists. Additional certifications or training are often required for those interested in working directly with imaging equipment or procedures.

Can I work from home in radiology?

Remote LPN radiology positions are uncommon because LPNs typically need to be physically present to assist with patient care, imaging procedures, and equipment operation. However, some roles may involve remote administrative tasks or telehealth coordination, but direct radiology support usually requires on-site presence. Certification and specific job requirements can influence the possibility of remote work in this field.

Are there any remote LPN jobs?

Remote LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) jobs are available in certain healthcare settings, often involving telehealth or administrative tasks. These roles typically require LPN licensure, good communication skills, and familiarity with electronic health records. Opportunities may include patient follow-up, health coaching, or documentation work, usually with flexible schedules and remote work tools.

What is the highest paying remote nursing job?

The highest paying remote nursing jobs often include roles such as Nurse Informaticist, Telehealth Nurse, or Clinical Nurse Specialist, with salaries reaching over $100,000 annually. These positions typically require specialized skills, certifications, and experience in areas like radiology, informatics, or telemedicine, and may involve working with electronic health records or remote patient monitoring.
