• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, using various tools and methodologies to derive personalized treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to each client's needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring that they are consistently reviewed and adjusted as necessary.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques suited to hospice care, fostering a safe environment for open dialogue.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals like physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive, integrated care that addresses the mental and emotional needs of clients.

In this role, you will work primarily with clients receiving hospice care, a unique population requiring a sensitive approach to therapeutic conversations. Your expertise will guide clients through emotional turbulence surrounding end-of-life care, grief, and loss, while maximizing quality of life and promoting mental clarity. • A valid license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential to practice at this level.
• Demonstrated specialized training or experience in mental health counseling, particularly within hospice or end-of-life care settings.
• A robust understanding of evidence-based practices for managing mental health disorders, with a focus on adapting interventions to support hospice clients.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, essential for establishing rapport and encouraging clients during their recovery journey.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to facilitate collaboration within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Experience working in hospice or geriatric mental health will be highly regarded, given the specific challenges faced by this patient demographic.

• We offer a competitive salary range from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
