We are seeking a Snowflake Data Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives using the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data stored within Snowflake to support business and operational objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and root cause analysis to ensure data accuracy.
  • Create and maintain reporting solutions using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis.
  • Support data governance and documentation efforts.
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to improve data availability and reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Snowflake.
  • Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python, R, or other analytical tools.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
  • Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration concepts.
  • Experience in Healthcare, Financial Services, Insurance, or other regulated industries.

Location Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in Michigan and be available to work within the state as required.
