Senior Product Analyst
Department: Finance
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Remote - USA
Reporting To: Principal Data Scientist
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 / year
Description
As the Senior Product Analyst, you will own the analytics layer across our Product, Engineering, and Design (EPD) teams and serve as the go-to data partner for Product Managers. You will transform raw product data into clear, actionable insights that inform feature decisions, improve user experience, and measure what is working. In addition to day-to-day analysis, you will help build the foundation for how we use data by establishing scalable tracking, experimentation, and reporting practices that enable faster, more confident product decisions.
Primary Responsibilities of the Role
  • Define and maintain product adoption and feature usage metrics across Tithely's product suite, ensuring data is easily accessible and self-serve for Product Managers
  • Build, standardize, and own product performance dashboards within BI tools to provide consistent visibility across all products
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests end-to-end, and establish a scalable experimentation framework for the EPD organization
  • Instrument and analyze user flows and funnels to identify friction points, drop-off, and opportunities for product improvement
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to deliver timely, high-quality ad hoc analyses that inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design during feature discovery to define tracking strategies, including event schemas, properties, and data relationships that enable meaningful insights while minimizing technical debt
  • Act as a "bilingual" technical partner, translating product requirements into clear data and tracking specifications for Engineering, while ensuring alignment with Data & Analytics modeling standards

Qualifications
A Successful Candidate Will:
  • Drive Results: Consistently achieve measurable benchmarks and optimize delivery speed while maintaining quality and reliability.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to define mid- and long-term technical direction for data assets that align with overall business objectives.
  • Utilize Business Insight by applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals
  • Collaborate: Ability to work effectively in a fully distributed, cross-functional team environment, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Action Oriented: Strong analytical mind and proactive problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt quickly to new technologies and operational changes.

Required Technical Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product analytics, preferably within SaaS or fintech environments
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one product analytics platform (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI tools and workflows to accelerate analysis and deepen insights
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests end-to-end
  • Experience building and maintaining self-serve dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase, or similar)
  • Proven ability to partner with Product Managers and influence product decisions through data
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering and Product to define tracking, instrumentation, and data requirements

Preferred Technical Qualifications:
  • Experience in church technology, nonprofit, or payments-related domains
  • Familiarity with dbt and modern data stack workflows, or experience collaborating closely with data engineering teams
  • Experience establishing product analytics instrumentation and data schemas from the ground up

Office Requirements:
  • We are a fully distributed team (100% remote) with travel sometimes required 1-2 times per year.
  • A stable work environment with designated workspace and access to high-speed internet.
  • US-based and legally able to work full time in the US. Sponsorships are not available at this time.
