As part of our remote outpatient mental health clinic situated in Waltham, Massachusetts, you will have the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a fulfilling mission. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices.
• Implementing various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to support clients in overcoming hardship and fostering resilience.
• Maintaining precise and timely clinical records while upholding confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and organized.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which may include psychiatrists and psychologists, to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to promote shared learning and enhance delivery of client care.
• Providing education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community support, thereby empowering them to take an active role in their mental health.
• Staying informed about the latest research and developments in the mental health field to ensure your practice remains current and effective.

In this role, you will primarily work with students facing diverse mental health challenges within the school system. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related conditions. Your holistic approach will take into account not only the individual’s mental health but also their educational environment and support network, allowing for tailored interventions that promote overall well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Massachusetts, indicating your professional readiness and qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience, demonstrating your capacity to handle complex cases in a mental health or school setting.
• A solid understanding of solution-based psychotherapy interventions, equipping you to customize therapeutic approaches to meet each client's needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trust and rapport with clients, colleagues, and families alike.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, essential for developing effective interventions and managing crises.

• Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents is highly desirable, giving you a nuanced understanding of youth mental health issues and dynamics.
• Familiarity with digital mental health tools and teletherapy techniques, supporting effective remote service delivery.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
