Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building relationships, developing growth strategies, and creating value for customers while contributing to a more sustainable energy future.
How you'll make an impact
Identify, develop, and capture new service opportunities for substations, transformers, and high-voltage equipment across U.S. industrial markets.
Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with long-term growth objectives.
Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, sales teams, and technical consultants.
Understand customer operational challenges and position service programs, service agreements, and lifecycle solutions that deliver value.
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
Collaborate with sales and market development teams to create and execute account capture strategies.
Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of opportunities while providing regular progress updates.
Champion Hitachi Energy's values of safety, integrity, collaboration, and customer focus in every interaction.
Your background
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role.
Experience working with industrial customers in sectors such as oil & gas, mining, metals, semiconductors, renewables, or similar markets.
Strong understanding of energy infrastructure, power systems, transformer services, substations, or high-voltage equipment.
Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
