Job description

Role:           Event Marketing Manager - Sponsorships Management

Location:     Remote

Duration:     6+ Months 

Key Responsibilities:

Review and understand sponsorship prospectuses, packages, and fulfillment requirements for assigned events

Handle high-volume sponsor communications via email, Webex chats, calls, and webinars

Process sponsorship interest forms and coordinate with Global Event Services to generate and execute sponsorship agreements

Manage sponsorship payment tracking, including payment link distribution, reminder communications, and status reporting

Coordinate with internal teams to set up and promote the Exhibitor Resource Portal for sponsors

Ensure sponsors are prepared for onsite event execution through active communication

Partner with event leads and cross-functional teams to execute sponsorship deliverables and ensure fulfillment commitments are met

Collaborate with vendors to create sponsor-related materials such as meter boards and Passport to Prizes featuring sponsor logos

Track sponsorship deliverables and fulfillment progress, providing regular status updates to event teams and stakeholders

Serve as the primary operational point of contact for sponsors, proactively addressing questions, issues, and fulfillment needs.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of sponsorship agreements and fulfillment status

Follow established corporate policies and procedures related to sponsorship execution, contracting, and vendor management

Assist with post-event sponsor reporting, feedback collection, and process improvement recommendations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills

Proven experience in event marketing with a focus on sponsorship management and execution.

Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple sponsorships and events simultaneously.

Clear and professional communication skills, with comfort handling sponsor emails, calls, and real-time event support.

Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to track and manage sponsorship deliverables and deadlines working for consistency & accuracy across multiple tracking platforms

Familiarity with event logistics, vendor coordination, and sponsorship fulfillment processes.

Basic financial acumen for tracking and payments processing.

Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in technology or B2B event marketing environments.

Exposure to sponsorship operations, event coordination, or exhibitor management.

Certification in event management or marketing (e.g., CMP, CMM).

Familiarity with event tools and systems (e.g., Cvent, CRM, registration platforms, project management tools).

Understanding of marketing and sales alignment to support sponsorship fulfillment.

This role is essential for ensuring flawless operational delivery of sponsorships, enhancing sponsor experience, and contributing to the overall success of marketing events.
