Remote LMHCs are able to offer therapy sessions to individuals, couples, or groups, making mental health support more accessible, especially for those who cannot attend in-person sessions due to distance, mobility, or scheduling constraints.

About the Organization

Empathy Edge Psychological Services is a rapidly growing mental health community based in Eugene, Oregon. We are committed to fostering optimal mental health through professional and empathetic support. Our diverse team of licensed therapists is dedicated to addressing a wide array of mental health challenges faced by our clients, ensuring that each individual receives tailored therapeutic interventions.

This role is fully remote, allowing our therapists to work from any location that suits them best. You will have complete control over your work schedule, enabling you to choose hours that fit your personal and professional commitments. As part of a supportive community, you will never feel isolated; open office hours and a collaborative atmosphere encourage consistent communication and collegial support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other methodologies, to clients of varying backgrounds.
  • Document client sessions accurately and timely, ensuring that all records reflect the therapeutic progress and any changes in treatment plans.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with clients, utilizing feedback to adapt therapeutic approaches and enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all ethical and professional standards as required by state licensing boards.
  • Collaborate with community partners and educational institutions, as a significant portion of sessions will be funded through schools, allowing you to focus on therapy rather than on billing concerns.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes children, adolescents, and adults who seek support for a myriad of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. As a therapist at Empathy Edge, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, helping them navigate their unique mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A master's level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) permitting you to provide unsupervised mental health services.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in clinical psychotherapy, specifically working with adult populations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting intake assessments and developing treatment plans, along with a strong aptitude for writing detailed session documentation.
  • A clean background record without any disciplinary action from a licensing board in any state.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of professionalism and accountability.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and familiarity with other evidence-based practices.
  • Experience engaging with school systems and educational settings, equipping you to navigate unique client circumstances effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively within a remote framework.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, contingent upon experience and qualifications. In addition to this robust salary:

  • Enjoy a flexible schedule that accommodates part-time or full-time work.
  • Receive a sign-on bonus upon the start of your first client.
  • Health insurance stipend eligibility, promoting your well-being while you focus on your clients.
  • Professional development assistance to support ongoing education and skill enhancements.
  • Participate in our referral program to encourage a positive and engaged workplace.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Empathy Edge, we are committed to fostering the professional growth of our team members. Through our supportive environment, therapists will have access to continual training and development programs aimed at enhancing therapeutic skills, increasing leadership abilities, and potentially progressing into supervisory roles within the organization.

Why Join Our Team
