Brightside Mental Health Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time, remote setting. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients facing various mental health challenges, including crisis assessment and intervention strategies.
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards to ensure proper treatment delivery and accreditation.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and screening tools in collaboration with our multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Develop and implement positive behavior support strategies in partnership with clients and their support systems to promote effective coping mechanisms.
• Advocate for clients by acting as a liaison between them and various social service systems, ensuring comprehensive care across agencies.
• Engage in community networking to enhance rehabilitation services and improve access to resources for our clients.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including conferences and meetings that relate to mental health practice and policy advocacy.
• Uphold and promote the clinic's mission by integrating our values and philosophies into every interaction with clients and stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Clinic Director to meet the evolving needs of our patients and the organization.

Your primary focus will be to support a diverse client population, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, severe mental illnesses, and substance use disorders. You will work with individuals from various backgrounds, requiring culturally sensitive practices and the ability to tailor approaches to effectively meet unique needs. Our goal is to enhance our clients’ day-to-day functioning and overall quality of life through personalized treatment plans.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is essential, equipping you with the theoretical knowledge necessary for effective practice.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license is a must, as it demonstrates your qualifications and authority to provide mental health counseling in California.

While the minimum qualifications are a Master’s degree and LMHC license, we value experience in both outpatient settings and with diverse populations. Fluency in multiple languages and prior involvement in community mental health initiatives will also be advantageous.
