• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans, encompassing crisis and behavioral management guidelines as well as medication treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that adheres to regulatory standards while utilizing evidence-based screening tools to accurately gauge client progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop positive behavior support plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Engage actively in all accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health care.
• Serve as a liaison with relevant state agencies, service systems, and community partners to enhance the delivery of services.
• Foster open communication lines, promoting the agency's mission and ensuring cohesion across the organization and its stakeholders.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with local and state agencies, as well as private organizations to secure partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending conferences and participating in committees to advance your clinical expertise.
• Uphold the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all professional interactions.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by the Clinic Director to support the overall objectives of the center.

As an LMHC at the Life Mental State Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with emotional and mental health challenges, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those navigating acquired brain injuries. Our focus is on delivering personalized care that addresses the unique circumstances of each client, facilitating their journey toward independence and improved quality of life.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory for this role.
• Candidates must possess an independent LMHC license issued by the state board.

• Excellent communication skills to express ideas clearly and effectively.

• Experience working in outpatient settings or similar clinical environments.

• Prior experience in community-based mental health initiatives, outreach, or program development.
