Job description

  • Linux OS admin with experience in major Linux distributions: RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu
  • Maintain Guest OS security requirements in cloud including OS patching, fix known security vulnerabilities, OS hardening and security compliance
  • Good understanding of Linux security modules SELinux, Firewalld, ssh keys management
  • Experience in OS installation, upgrades and patching in cloud environment (vmware, openstack, KVM)
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience configuring network interfaces on VMs
  • Documentation of processes and procedures and related tasks
  • Hands-on experience in IP addressing, subnetting and basic network testing/troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Linux shell scripting and automation is a plus
  • Ansible and Python is a plus
