The Opportunity:
Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We're looking for a systems administrator who specializes in Linux to help us deploy and maintain Linux based analytical platforms.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll deploy and harden operating systems, deploy and configure analytical tools, implement STIGs, manage user accounts, update and patch critical systems, while ensuring the current infrastructure is functional and available. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in deploying and configuring analytical tooling and IT Automation. We focus on growing as a team, so we'll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience developing and leveraging automation scripts using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
  • Ability to write and configure scripts
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with automation IT processes
  • Experience with STIGs
  • Experience with ACAS
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
