We are excited for the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our teams. Currently, we are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator Journeyman. This role supports a Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.


Job Description and Responsibilities:ย Install, configure, and maintain an organization's Red Hat Linux systems. Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.

  • Hardware/Application Support for Red Hat Linux Systems.ย 
  • Compliance Assurance: STIG, Patching, Backups, ACAS Scans.ย 
  • Scripting: Bash and Ansible

Basic Requirements:ย High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experienceย 

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Red Hat Linux 8.x and newer experience (required)
Bash Scripting experience (required)
Familiarity with STIGs (Required)ย 
Anisible knowledge (desired)
Certificationย Requirements:ย Security +(or equivalent) and RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Admin)ย 

Security Clearance:ย  Topย Secret or above (must be a US Citizen)

Telework and Travel:ย On-Site. <5% Travel.
