Job description

The Opportunity We are seeking a highly qualified System Engineer – Product Quality to provide technical support to a government customer within the National System for Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG). This role directly supports mission requirements through test planning, product evaluation, and verification/validation of GEOINT data and products across multiple sensor phenomenologies. What You'll Be Doing • Develop government‑approved test plans, test procedures, and data requirements to support product quality assessments
• Lead and coordinate technical tasking for a multidisciplinary team (image scientists, imagery analysts, photogrammetrists, statisticians)
• Perform independent verification and validation (IV&V) of GEOINT products to ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and operational concepts
• Assess product visual quality and support‑data accuracy across EO, SAR, LiDAR, OPIR, motion, and multi-/hyperspectral sources
• Track technical issues, document findings, and provide clear, decision‑focused briefings to government stakeholders
• Support requirements analysis, CONOPS development, and system performance assessments
• Operate effectively within integrated government–contractor teams in a fast‑paced mission environment What You'll Bring Required Qualifications • Active Top Secret clearance; will upgrade to SCI and CI Poly
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 5–10 years of systems engineering experience on government or defense programs
• Demonstrated experience in test design, requirements verification, data validation, and mission‑aligned CONOPS support
• Working knowledge of remote sensing imaging systems and GEOINT product generation/exploitation workflows
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to produce comprehensive test documentation and deliver technical briefings
• Ability to work independently while supporting integrated project teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience with EO/IR/SAR remote sensing phenomenologies
• Familiarity with NSG tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) workflows
