As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your varied responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough individual and family therapy assessments, creating tailored treatment plans to address clients' unique needs.
• Facilitating scheduled group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for shared experiences and collective healing.
• Building and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients, always upholding healthy boundaries to create a safe space for healing.
• Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability when working with a diverse patient population, encompassing various DSM diagnoses.
• Utilizing psychosocial assessments to administer appropriate treatment plans and ensure ongoing client engagement in their recovery process.
• Documenting all therapy sessions comprehensively, ensuring compliance with medical necessity standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Completing accurate daily charge sheets reflecting patient sessions attended.
• Participating actively in weekly treatment planning sessions to evaluate client progress and align strategies within the care team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assisting in formulating the Discharge Aftercare Plan, providing continuity of care post-treatment.
• Coordinating and managing patient care with collaborative partners, as time permits, ensuring integrated support systems for clients.
• Continuously expanding professional knowledge through seminars, workshops, and ongoing education, keeping abreast of the latest trends and methodologies in mental health.

In this role, you'll engage with a diverse clientele across varying demographics, including children, transitional age youth, middle-aged adults, and geriatrics. You will address their unique physical, psychological, and cultural needs with respect and sensitivity, contributing to their overall growth and development.

• A valid, unrestricted license in Massachusetts as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
