• Provide comprehensive assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients, followed by the creation of personalized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and evidence-based practices.
• Engage in regular consultations and counseling sessions with clients via virtual platforms, ensuring consistent follow-ups and adapting therapy methods to meet individual needs.
• Facilitate referral linkages to community resources, including psychiatric services, support groups, and other essential services, as needed based on clients' assessed requirements.
• Work collaboratively with families and support networks to enhance communication and develop better coping strategies, thereby improving the therapeutic outcomes for clients.
• Administer education workshops for clients and their families, focusing on adherence to therapeutic recommendations, healthy lifestyle choices, and coping mechanisms related to behavioral health issues.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision sessions to stay current with industry developments, treatment methodologies, and ethical considerations in mental health practice.
• Contribute to the quality improvement initiatives within the organization by regularly reviewing client feedback and treatment outcomes, ensuring that service delivery remains client-centered and effective.

Our client population includes individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and interpersonal relationship struggles. The counselor will play a critical role in fostering a safe and supportive environment, facilitating open dialogue, and promoting healing among clients who are seeking assistance with these complex life situations.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of direct counseling experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of psychological theories, treatment modalities, and legal/ethical standards in mental health care.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices relevant to individual counseling.

• Experience working in community health settings, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities they present.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and EMR systems to document sessions and manage client records effectively.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teams and a collaborative approach to patient care.
