Job Description:

  • MUST HAVE--Experience with security tools such as HashiCorp Vault and understanding of cloud security policies.
  • MUST HAVE - Developer experience with Golang and Python (or similar programming languages).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

  • Expert with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred) Must-Have

Skills

  • Developer experience with Golang and Python (or similar programming languages).
  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault and strong understanding of cloud security policies.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Temporal (or Cadence) and HashiCorp Consul.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a standardized Terragrunt directory structure organized by account, region, environment, and category for scalable configurations.
  • Refactor and migrate legacy Terraform stacks, minimizing downtime and drift.
  • Architect cross-account and cross-cloud-provider deployments, ensuring least-privilege access via RBAC.
  • Apply DRY principles using Terragrunt wrappers and Kubernetes configuration tools (Tanka, Jsonnet, Helm, Kustomize) to reduce code duplication and streamline maintenance.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to automate and standardize infrastructure deployments across multiple environments.
  • Integrate custom automation tools such as Slack, Jira, or bots into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Experience running Kubernetes workloads on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred) and GitOps with GitHub Actions (including self-hosted runners).
  • Solid Linux administration skills (Rocky, CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with cloud-init image automation and Linux software installation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams and time zones.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex cloud infrastructure challenges.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including DevOps engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Exposure to multi-region, multi-environment deployment architectures for enterprise-scale systems.
