Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilledย Cloud Infrastructure Engineerย with deep expertise inย VMware, Kubernetes, AWS, andย Spectro Cloud (optional). This role will focus on designing, deploying, and managing scalable hybrid cloud environments, with an emphasis onย modern container orchestration,ย infrastructure automation, andย cloud migration strategies.
Candidates must have hands-on experience withย VMware-to-KubeVirt migrations, understanding of Spectro Cloudย VMO architecture (optional), and the ability to support bothย Linux and Windows-based systemsย within complex infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across VMware and AWS platforms.
Lead migrations from VMware to Spectro Cloud VMO with a strong focus onย KubeVirt-based virtualization. VMO up-skilling & enablement can be done on the role.
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using Spectro Cloud and other automation tools.
Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Apply deep VMware expertise to design resilient infrastructure and guide migration strategies.
Provide technical leadership inย VMware to KubeVirtย transition processes, including VMO planning and execution.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to align cloud infrastructure with operational and business goals.
Develop and enforceย Infrastructure-as-Codeย practices and CI/CD integrations using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
Troubleshoot complex issues in hybrid and cloud-native environments, including in-depth debugging of KubeVirt and Spectro Cloud deployments.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience withย VMware vSphere/ESXi, including architecture, administration, and migrations.
Proven knowledge ofย AWS core servicesย andย Kubernetes (EKS or upstream distributions).
Experience withย Spectro Cloud (optional), especially in VMware toย KubeVirt migration scenarios.
In-depth understanding ofย KubeVirt architecture, operation, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity withย VMO (Virtual Machine Orchestrator)ย concepts, architecture, and operations.
Strong working knowledge of bothย Linux and Windows operating systemsย in enterprise environments.
