ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you'll take ownership of the company's corporate IT environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable operations across endpoints, identity, networking, SaaS applications, and cloud services. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role where you'll build automation, develop IT processes, improve service management, and collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to continuously enhance the organization's IT infrastructure

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and drive IT initiatives from planning through implementation with minimal supervision
  • Lead IT service management, including incident, change, problem, and access management using ITIL best practices
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, documentation, and network diagrams
  • Administer identity and access management through Okta, including SAML/OIDC integrations, MFA, SCIM provisioning, and RBAC
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot networking across LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and hybrid environments
  • Manage Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints through MDM platforms
  • Administer collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
  • Implement endpoint security, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and SaaS governance
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to deploy scalable IT solutions
  • Participate in and lead the IT on-call rotation for production-adjacent systems

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 8–12 years of experience in IT Operations or Systems Engineering within a SaaS or technology company
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management
  • Advanced networking experience, including TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and load balancers
  • Extensive Okta administration experience, including SAML/OIDC, MFA, and SCIM provisioning
  • Experience managing Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints
  • Working knowledge of public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Excellent communication skills with experience supporting distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Advanced experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification
  • Cloud certifications (Google, AWS, or Azure)
  • Networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance initiatives
  • Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar solutions
