Job Overview
TE Digital Data Networks (DDN) Business Unit is seeking an experienced and savvy Channel Sales Account Manager to join our sales team in Midwest or Southeast. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electronic component IP&E sales, with a focus on DDN customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and an understanding of the Midwest or Southeast market. In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for driving new technical designs within the customer base, building strong relationships with customers and regional distribution partners, and growing revenue in the territory.
Location: Remote/Home office in the Southeast or Midwest Territory
Job Requirements
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the Midwest or Southeast region.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the DDN product sectors.
• Drive the design-in and development of new products and/or platforms
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Able to understand, position, and present TE DDN products/solutions value proposition to align with customer needs
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills required with Field Application Engineers, Product Management, and Product Engineering teams to support and develop new programs with customers
• Coordinate with regional distributors and support focused local distributor branches / customers.
• Coordination with Customer Service, Operations, Quality, and Plant Management to best serve customers.
• Monitor & communicate market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
What your background should look like:
• 5+ years of component sales experience is desired in Interconnect/semiconductors. 5+ years of critical account management experience preferred.
• Understanding of Midwest or Southeast territory and market dynamics.
• College degree: BS degree in Engineering and/or Business Management/Marketing preferred. Relative years of Sales experience in lieu of a degree are acceptable.
• Willingness to travel within region (approx. 50%-75%) and a valid U.S. driver's license.
• The successful candidate will encompass the skills to successfully compete and thrive in a highly competitive market:
• A strong technical background (Technically Astute)
• Strong selling and presentation skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
• A solutions-oriented individual capable of looking not only at the component requirement, but also has an understanding of the complete system in order to offer full-assembly solutions where possible
• Strong Customer focus and ability to advocate for the customer throughout all levels of management
• Ability to engage with customers' Development Engineers and Purchasing personnel
• Strong time management skills required for this remote position
Distribution Experience preferred.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $112,600 - $168,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
