Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of developers, testing engineers, and product managers to break big, complex problems into manageable pieces

  • Work full-stack, finding opportunities to deliver small, iterative pieces of value fast

  • Own changes and features across the software development lifecycle

  • Be a force multiplier on your team, helping grow other engineers and advocating for continued improvement


Experience and Professional Qualifications:

  • At least four years working as a software engineer across frontend and backend

  • Excellent team and communication skills and experience collaborating closely across engineering and product

  • Experience in NodeJS, Typescript, React (or other framework) environments

  • Experience working in AWS building serverless and managed services (Lambda, S3, SQS, etc)

  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing great software following best practices (Both frontend and backend)

  • Passionate about being close to the customers to better understand their pain points

  • Experience with/understanding of various architectural styles (SOA, Microservices, Monoliths)

  • Team-oriented and willing to help drive excellence up and down the stack and across the team.

  • SQL (MySQL or Postgres preferred )

Preferred experience and qualifications

  • Experience with machine learning or generative AI prompt engineering

  • Caching/NoSQL datastores (Redis, Memcached, MongoDB, etc.)

  • Automation experience (Gitlab, build/deploy, testing, etc.)

  • Linux experience, specifically Ubuntu

  • Experience in Fintech

  • Experience in PHP
