Primary Purpose

Greene Education is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer & Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and expand the organization's educational technology platform. This position is responsible for both the technical infrastructure that keeps Greene Education's systems secure and operational and the application development that supports day-to-day business operations.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing the full technology stack, from cloud infrastructure and databases to backend development and user-facing applications.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of web security, system performance, and application reliability

Education/Experience

  • Administer, maintain, and monitor cloud-hosted Linux servers
  • Maintain platform security, availability, uptime, and overall system performance
  • Develop and refine user-facing application features based on organizational and operational needs
  • Manage relational databases, including schema design, maintenance, and performance optimization
  • Integrate third-party platforms, services, and APIs as organizational needs evolve
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack, from server infrastructure to browser-based applications
  • Monitor systems and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance
  • Maintain appropriate technical documentation for systems, applications, configurations, and processes
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with document generation and/or electronic signature workflows
  • Experience administering or developing solutions within cloud-hosting environments, preferably AWS
  • Previous experience working within or supporting the education sector
