Responsibilities / Position overview

Our Value, Access, and Outcomes practice serves our clients by identifying, substantiating, and conveying the value of ground-breaking medical advances. It is comprised of industry leading health economists, data analysts, statisticians, and market access experts supporting health technology assessment (HTA) strategy and submissions, driving a real-world understanding of burden of illness and the patient journey, uncovering the full market potential of products, and demonstrating their value to stakeholders around the world

We are seeking a Director/Senior Director, Consulting to develop solutions to our unique and complex client needs. 

Key responsibilities include:

Client Services

  • Serve as strategic advisor & support Lumanity teams in delivery to US-based clients of:
  • Early value strategy & HEOR services (for phase 2 and earlier pipeline assets)
  • Global value demonstration projects
  • US-payer launch readiness activities
  • Translation of value evidence via communications including US value/AMCP formulary dossiers, global value dossiers, proactive payer-facing decks and tools
  • US economic models including budget impact and cost effectiveness
  • US HTA strategy, engagement, and technical submissions including ICER, BCBSA Evidence Street, and regional/local payer HTA requirements
  • Post-approval product differentiation strategies and HEOR services

Business Development/Client Engagement/Thought Leadership

  • Leverage US life sciences, pharmacy, and managed care networks in yield of new client relationships, request for proposals, and partnerships
  • Support development of client proposals
  • Serve as strategic advisor on client calls
  • Maintain and expand Lumanity as marker-leading technical experts and strategic advisors via participation in relevant HEOR committees & meetings (e.g., ISPOR, AMCP) and participate as co-author in potential Lumanity white papers
  • Develop strategic networks and partnerships in support of advancing Lumanity service offerings, innovation, and leadership

 

Qualifications
  • Significant experience in life science or consulting industry.
  • Relevant Degree in scientific field from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to sell and deliver projects of significant size and scope.
  • Deep expertise in an HEOR solution and demonstrates ability to apply this subject matter expertise with a commercially oriented and consultative mindset.
  • Ability to price and execute profitable client engagements.
  • Role models our diversity, equity, and inclusion ethos in all interactions, internally and externally.
  • Successful history of effectively managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet client needs and contract specifications.
  • Excellent conceptual skills and ability to draw relevant strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to understand and clearly convey complex scientific, economic, and commercial data.
