The Conscious Mind Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of patients and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services, tailoring your approach to address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops covering relevant topics such as coping strategies, grief management, and emotional wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical providers and hospice support staff, to guarantee holistic and well-coordinated patient care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and preventive care, including wellness events and workshops.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring that patient information is secure.

The primary focus of our clinical services is to support patients within the hospice setting, where individuals may be facing complex emotional challenges due to serious illness or life transitions. You will work with a diverse population, including patients experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues related to their circumstances. Understanding the multifaceted challenges these patients face is essential in providing effective and empathetic care.

• Current state licensure as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is essential.
• A demonstrated understanding of the unique mental health challenges faced by patients in medical and hospice settings is crucial for success in this role.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models that are appropriate for a health care environment.
• The capability to manage a diverse patient caseload in a fast-paced setting while prioritizing tasks effectively.

• Experience working in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and tools for remote therapy sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement therapy programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals facing chronic illnesses.

• Annual salary is competitively set between USD 80,000 and 100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
