Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, fostering an environment conducive to open communication and healing.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess mental health issues and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s needs.
  • Facilitate counseling sessions in various formats including individual, couples, and family therapy to address interpersonal dynamics and individual challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions to treat a range of mental health disorders while adapting strategies based on client progress.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up consultations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide referrals to additional mental health professionals when specialized expertise is required, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
  • Document session notes and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards to maintain patient confidentiality and continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will work primarily with a diverse clientele facing various challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance abuse. By offering support and therapeutic interventions, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A valid LMFT license is required to practice in Washington state.
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing therapy with a focus on marriage and family dynamics is desired.
