Job Duties + Functions

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family outpatient therapy on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
  • Part time clinicians must maintain a caseload that supports a minimum of 12 completed client sessions per week (minimum availability: 16 hours per week).
  • Manage and maintain an individual book of business, monitoring caseload health and proactively addressing issues (ex. availability, cancellation reengagement, retention, clinical education, etc).
  • Utilize measurement-based care by incorporating assessments into every session and tracking mental health outcomes.
  • Complete timely documentation within Mamaya Healths established timeframes, including intakes, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Coordinate care with other providers (e.g., medication prescriber, PCP, OB-GYN, dietitian, other therapists) and family members as appropriate.
  • Communicate promptly with Mamaya Health staff, responding to email/chat within 2 business days or sooner when urgent.
  • Actively participate in monthly team meetings, quarterly all-staff meetings, monthly 1:1 meetings with Team Lead, and supervisory meetings with Team Lead or Senior Clinical Leadership as needed.

Schedule Expectations

You will have the flexibility to identify which schedule works best for you, within the following shift options (PT: 16 hrs minimum, all hours in CST):

  • 3-7 MTWTh
  • 4-7 M-F
  • 4-8 MTW, Sun 11am-2pm
  • 4-8 WThF, Sat 9am-12pm
  • 3-7 MT, Sat 9am-12pm, Sun 9am-12pm
  • 3-7 WTh, Sat 11am-2pm, Sun 11am-2pm

Additional hours may be required (with appropriate notice) for synchronous onboarding, group meetings, 1:1s, and maintenance of the role.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • Independently licensed preferred - LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT. Minimum provisionally licensed to practice in TN.
  • Direct clinical experience for 1+ year. Ideal settings would include outpatient, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, or residential treatment settings.
  • Experience working with women preferred, preferably with a focus on womens health throughout the lifespan.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to inclusivity and cultural humility.
  • Strong self-accountability and autonomy.
