• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for patients, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools to create tailored treatment plans based on individual mental health needs.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention for clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
• Lead and facilitate therapy groups and educational workshops focusing on mental health awareness, coping strategies, and personal development.
• Collaborate proactively with medical teams, support services, and community partners to enhance the quality of care for patients and streamline service delivery.
• Engage in outreach initiatives such as community mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events, advocating for holistic patient engagement.
• Maintain thorough and confidential patient records following ethical, legal, and organizational standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

The diverse patient community you will serve includes individuals across various age groups and backgrounds dealing with a wide range of mental health issues. • Active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven expertise in addressing mental health needs relevant to hospital environments, including an understanding of crisis management and intervention strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for effective engagement with patients and collaboration with medical staff.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and brief intervention practices.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively, demonstrating sound judgment and prioritization skills.

• Experience within a hospital or outpatient counseling center, dealing with acute mental health cases.
• Demonstrated involvement in community outreach programs or mental health advocacy work.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation efficiently.
