As a remote position within our community health clinic framework, you will engage primarily with clients through virtual appointments. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to establish accurate and effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing various psychological modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work with a diverse client base on various mental health issues, facilitating their journies towards emotional stability and personal growth, including crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and holistic treatment of clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal regulations while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing learning through workshops, courses, and professional development opportunities to remain updated on current mental health research and intervention strategies.

Our counseling center primarily serves a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and family-related difficulties. As a counselor, you will work with individuals, couples, and families, employing tailored strategies that respect each client's distinct background and personal experiences.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing direct counseling services, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to mental health practice.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills necessary for building strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and the use of telehealth platforms.

Specializations in trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling are highly desirable. Experience working with diverse populations from varying socio-economic and cultural backgrounds will enhance your effectiveness in our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
