• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health needs, concerns, and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and stress management.
• Lead couples and family therapy sessions, employing strategies to improve communication and resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively.
• Develop customized treatment plans that outline specific objectives, interventions, and measurable outcomes tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients facing urgent mental health challenges, ensuring appropriate referrals and follow-up care.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available resources, and practical coping strategies to enhance resilience and recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential case files that include detailed assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and evaluation of outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Adhere to professional ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring that client confidentiality and informed consent are upheld in all interactions.

The LPC will primarily work with a varied demographic of clients, including individuals seeking support for conditions such as anxiety and depression, couples experiencing relationship difficulties, and families facing conflicts or transitions. • A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
