Job description

Title: Sales/Marketing/Creative - Marketing Manager

Duration: 6+Months

Location: Remote

Job Description

Seeking a nimble, execution-focused marketing contractor to provide coverage across three teams — Lifecycle Marketing (LCM), Frontline Marketing, and Web Marketing — during a leave period. This is a full-time engagement (~40 hours/week) requiring someone who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp time.

You'll partner with leads and strategists to own execution, keep reporting on track, maintain living documents, write and route content for approval, and derive actionable insights from data. You operate independently, ramp up quickly, communicate proactively, and deliver quality work without needing things spelled out.

What You'll Do

Reporting & Analytics

Pull weekly and monthly performance metrics from Tableau, DataBricks and Amplitude dashboards and populate pre-built reporting templates for Lifecycle, Web and Frontline channels.

Calculate and compile channel performance data each month and develop clear summaries and performance-driven insights to share with business stakeholders.

Build and assemble performance slides for recurring forums and business rhythms.

Own regular reporting and forecasting across channels, including trend diagnostics and monthly pacing updates through the funnel.

Monitor data for anomalies, escalate to internal leads and participate in diagnostic troubleshooting and resolution.

Keep performance decks current and produce slides for recurring leadership readouts.

Maintain living tracking documents and ensure accuracy across all active workstreams you own.

Internal and External Content Execution

Draft and assist with development of strategic marketing briefs to support development of assets used across channel initiatives.

Write and iterate on short-form email and SMS copy from existing briefs and strategy direction provided by internal leads.

Build and route content through approval workflows (AO review) across multiple workstreams including connections SMS tests, email refresh/agent rebrand, and nurture series updates.

Update and maintain the campaign documentation as new communications launch or change.

Create and maintain living decks and tracking documents and ensure accuracy across all active workstreams you own.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of marketing experience with hands-on work in at least two of these three areas: lifecycle/CRM marketing (email & SMS), frontline/sales enablement marketing, or digital/web marketing.

Proven ability to pull, interpret, and present data from BI tools — Tableau experience strongly preferred. You don't need to build dashboards, but you need to own the data that comes out of them.

Experienced writing short-form marketing copy for email and SMS. You can write to a brief, adapt to brand voice quickly, and produce clean copy without extensive redline rounds.

Familiar with a CRM or marketing automation platform — Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or similar. You understand how campaigns are built and deployed.

Comfortable navigating approval and legal review workflows (or willing to learn the process quickly).

Strong Google Workspace skills — you live in Docs, Sheets, and Slides and can produce polished deliverables without help.

Self-directed with excellent follow-through. You track your own deadlines, flag blockers early, and don't need daily oversight to stay on track.

Comfortable attending cross-functional meetings and representing project status on work you own — you communicate clearly and don't go dark.

How You Work

You ramp fast. You ask good questions upfront and figure out the rest without hand-holding.

Variety energizes you — moving between a reporting deck, an SMS copy build, and a stakeholder sync in the same day feels normal.

You use data to orient yourself. When something looks off, you flag it rather than guessing.

You're organized enough to track multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping balls.

You treat unclear scope as a starting point, not a blocker.

Tools & Technical Skills

Tableau or comparable BI/reporting tool (required)

Google Workspace — Docs, Sheets, Slides (required)

CRM/MAP platform: Braze, SFMC, Iterable, Marketo, or similar (required)

Experience working with generative AI copywriting tools, such as Writer (preferred)

Experience with sales enablement tools such as Highspot.

Jira or comparable project management tool (preferred)

Familiarity with SMS platforms and email deployment tooling (preferred)

Familiarity with onsite marketing and/or a headless CMS (preferred)

Scope Note

This role covers execution and reporting support only. The following are not part of this engagement:

A/B test design or interpretation requiring deep funnel expertise

Strategic roadmap planning or cross-functional stakeholder relationship ownership

Legal/compliance review navigation (internal leads retain ownership)

AI decisioning tooling (AiD/Hightouch) — internal only

Journey map development from scratch
