The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Client-Facing Portfolio Manager to join our Portfolio Management and Financial Advisory Team. This is a remote position, with working hours aligned to the Pacific Time Zone. This is a client-facing role for an accomplished professional with strong technical knowledge across investments, financial planning, tax planning, estate planning, and insurance. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted representative to clients, providing thoughtful portfolio guidance and sophisticated wealth management solutions tailored to individual needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct meaningful client conversations by phone to understand financial goals, priorities, and evolving needs.

  • Build and maintain trusted long-term relationships as a dedicated financial representative and portfolio manager.

Qualifications

  • Completion of the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation and/or CFA Level 1.
  • Licensed as a Portfolio Manager for discretionary or managed accounts with a CIRO-regulated investment dealer.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Confident, self-directed, and highly accountable with a strong work ethic.
  • French language proficiency is an asset.
