Proximity Learning is looking for a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students during the current school year. This fully remote opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic success from anywhere. We're seeking a collaborative, student-centered professional who thrives in a virtual environment and is passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges. If you are dedicated to helping students build confidence and strengthen their communication skills in a virtual setting, we'd love to connect.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K-12 students
Develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs
Conduct virtual therapy sessions and maintain progress documentation
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders on student progress
Provide regular updates and recommend strategies to support communication development
Reevaluate students in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Illinois SLP license
ASHA CCC preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology
Ability to effectively assess student speech through virtual platforms
Comfortable using virtual tools and technology for communication and data tracking
Flexible availability during school-day hours across time zones
Location: 100% Remote
