Work Environment

In this remote position, you will enjoy the flexibility of a work-from-home setting while being part of a dynamic and supportive team. Your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you a structured yet adaptable schedule. Communication and collaboration will be facilitated through virtual meeting platforms and secure electronic health record systems, ensuring you remain connected with both colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that facilitate healing.
• Lead individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Document progress notes and update treatment plans regularly to reflect clients' evolving needs and objectives.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions and staying current with industry best practices to enhance therapeutic skills.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide holistic care tailored to client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At The Comfort Place, we cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. Our primary focus is on assisting clients who are experiencing relationship difficulties, mental health issues, trauma, and life transitions. By fostering a compassionate and understanding therapeutic environment, you will help clients develop coping strategies, improve communication skills, and rebuild trust in their relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• An active LMFT license in the state of Maryland is required.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong commitment to client welfare and support.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy to diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Experience in crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
