To thrive as a Remote Land Use Planner, you need a strong background in urban planning, environmental regulations, and geographic information systems (GIS), typically supported by a relevant degree such as urban planning, geography, or environmental science. Proficiency in GIS software (like ArcGIS), remote collaboration platforms, and knowledge of zoning codes or permitting processes is essential.
