We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to be part of our pricing strategy and decision-making process You will leverage data and industry insights to help us respond to (RFPs), analyze transportation purchasing decisions, and determine competitive pricing for our customers. You will work closely with sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure our pricing strategies drive profitability and customer satisfaction, all while joining a team that lives by our core values: Customer Obsessed, Team Focused, Be Valuable, Do the Right Thing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Pricing Strategies:
    Use market analysis, transportation cost data, and customer insights to recommend competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
  • Manage RFPs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and submit timely, accurate responses to customer RFPs.
  • Analyze Data: Utilize advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Macros) and Power BI to build and maintain pricing models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Evaluate Carrier Rates: Analyze and negotiate carrier rates to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions for the company and our customers.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Partner with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and market conditions.
    • Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven presentations and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including sales, operations, procurement teams, and leadership, to drive informed decision-making.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize pricing workflows and data analysis.

What We are Looking For:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (required).
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years in a pricing analyst or similar role (required), preferably within the logistics industry
    • Previous experience intermodal or intermodal operations experience is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros) and data visualization tools like Power BI.
    • Strong understanding of transportation operations and pricing models.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
    • Exceptional focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of pricing and data analysis.
