This is a remote position
We are currently looking for freelance translators/post-editors (MTPE):

Language combinations:
  • English (US) to Karen (KAR)
Specializations:
  • Human Resources, Healthcare - specific knowledge ==> US market
Requirements
We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
c) have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

For MT Post-editing:
Other requirements
  • Experience in Post-editing Machine Translation. 
  • CAT tools experience (memoQ). 

Skills: 

Experience in evaluating Post-edited material:
  • Post-editing Quality:  fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence 
  • RAW MT output evaluation: Post-editing length and time, Error type identification and similar
