Summary:

This individual works well in a fast-paced team environment, building a knowledge base of multi-channel digital marketing operations, sending best practices, system integrations, data management, supporting a reliable and resilient digital campaign process. Creativity, problem solving, and an ability to quickly understand new ideas, along with excellent communication skills are required and immediately utilized in this role. The incumbent will report to the Senior Director, Digital Integration.

Roles & Responsibility:

Channel Deliverability

  • Monitor reporting that supports the deliverability and operational health of a multi-channel digital campaign sending program.

  • Collaborate with team members, implementing automated and executing manual responses to deliverability issues.

  • Configure and maintain feedback loop event classification and ingestion of events from mailbox providers and other external service partners.

  • Configure, maintain, and monitor feedback loop event ingestion from third-party service partners for accurate classification and structure consistency.

  • Participate in the evaluation of third-party data vendors for quality and applicability to serve as input to internal data hygiene efforts.

Sender Reputation Management

  • Pursue and attend educational events (webinars, newsletters, chat groups) to expand sender reputation knowledge.

  • Monitor intraday deliverability performance and engagement for each mailbox provider and respond to unexpected events.

  • Support the execution of sending infrastructure experiments to improve customer reach and engagement.

Campaign Process Resiliency

  • Collaborate with Digital & IT team members to build a foundational understanding of digital campaign products, workflows & integrations.

  • Consult with IT partners to implement reporting and alerting improvements related to campaign processes, products, and integrations.

  • Work closely with the digital operations and IT teams to develop and maintain test suite(s) for performing user acceptance testing of the campaign sending platform and related integrations.

  • Participate in the testing of changes to the digital campaign build process, integrated solutions, and workflows.

Digital Integration

  • Develop a foundational understanding of the Digital solution stack and the various integration between systems and third-party solutions.

  • Develop a foundational understanding of the organization's best practices for data collection, storage, curation, analysis, and security.

  • Assist with the collection, transformation and creation of basic data visualizations that convey the impact of digital transformation initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of programming experience or education required. SQL or Python preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office required.

  • Digital marketing exposure preferred but not required.

  • Ability to self-educate, learn quickly, with enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity.

  • Desire to learn about the various and innovative uses of technology in a business environment.

  • Ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and opinions professionally with a right answer wins mentality.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams.

  • Quarterly travel for training and remote office visits.

  • Availability outside of normal business hours to identify delivery related issues.

Educational Requirements:

Four-year college degree in business or STEM related discipline required.
