Senior Java Developer – AI-Enabled Development

Location: Remote (USA)
Employment Type: Contract, accept all terms

Required Skills
  • 7+ years of Java development experience.
  • Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, OOP, Design Patterns, SQL/NoSQL, Git, CI/CD, Agile.
  • Experience building and supporting enterprise applications with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
AI Skills

Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Amazon Q, or similar to accelerate coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, API development, SQL generation, and code reviews.

Working knowledge of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Embeddings, Vector Search, AI APIs, AI code validation, and security/privacy best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications and REST APIs; leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality; participate in application modernization, code reviews, troubleshooting, CI/CD, and Agile delivery while collaborating with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
